| 題名 | “Subaru/Hyper Suprime-Cam Survey: Statistical Properties of Luminous Galaxies in the Early Universe” |
| 概要など | Studying properties of high redshift galaxies is important to understand galaxy formation and cosmic reionization. Currently we are studying high redshift galaxies using large data taken in the Subaru/Hyper Suprime-Cam (HSC) survey, which is a wide and deep survey covering ∼1000 deg2 with deep optical imaging. Using the Subaru/HSC data, we have so far identified ∼500,000 Lyman break galaxies (LBGs) and ∼2000 Lyman alpha emitters (LAEs) at z>4, which are the largest sample of high redshift galaxies to date.In this talk, we will show our recent results about high redshift galaxies, including the physical origin of the cosmic star formation history, ISM properties revealed with ALMA, and an identification of the highest-redshift protocluster. プレゼンファイル(pdf) |
