タイトル“Neutrinos and gravitational waves from core collapse supernovae: towards a multimessenger approach”
概要Core collapse supernovae are powerful emitters of neutrinos and gravitational waves, and therefore are prime targets for multimessenger observation campaigns. In this talk I discuss the phenomenology of neutrinos from supernovae, and their interplay with gravitational waves. I will especially focus on cases where the connection between the two messengers is direct, like the Standing Accretion Shock Instability (SASI) and the gravitational memory of supernova neutrinos. I will show how coordinated analyses of future data at neutrino and gravitational wave detectors, like SuperKamiokande, Hyperkamiokande and KAGRA, will enhance the potential to learn about the physics of collapsing stars, for both galactic and extragalactic supernovae.
