Institute for Cosmic Ray Research (ICRR), The University of Tokyo, Japan, invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow position.
The successful applicant shall work on the data analysis of the KAGRA detector. He or she is expected to contribute to the data analysis of gravitational waves from compact binary coalescences, and can contribute to the interpretation of the analysis results as a member of KAGRA Collaboration.
This position is funded by the research project, “Physics and Astrophysics with gravitational waves from Binary Neutron Star Coalescences, Black Hole Neutron Star Coalescences, Pulsars and Magnetars”(PI: Hideyuki Tagoshi) in the Grand-in-Aid for New Innovative Area on “Gravitational wave physics and astronomy: Genesis”.
