Associate Professor Hiroyuki Sekiya Receives 2024 Koshiba Prize

The Foundation for High Energy Accelerator Science announced in the website that Associate Professor Hiroyuki Sekiya of the Super-Kamiokande group has been selected for the 2024 Koshiba Prize, which is awarded to individuals or a small group of people who have demonstrated outstanding originality and internationally acclaimed achievements in the development of detector technology in the basic sciences, such as particle physics. The reason for the award is “Pioneering supernova neutrino observation technology at Super-Kamiokande.”
