About me

Picture
My name is Suraphong Yuma (สุรพงษ์ อยู่มา).
I was raised in Bangkok, Thailand until 2005 when I moved to Kyoto, Japan to continue my Master's and PhD studies.
I have been living in Japan since then...

Now I am working as a postdoctoral researcher in the observational cosmological group at Institute for Cosmic Ray Research, The University of Tokyo with Dr. Masami Ouchi. My research interest is mainly on the formation and evolution of galaxies, especially at high redshifts. You can find more about my past research here
