High Energy Astrophysics Group

High Energy Astrophysics Group was established December 2009. We study various high-energy astrophysical phenomena, which are sources of cosmic rays, via mainly theoretical method. In our universe, relativistic particles are traveling with almost the speed of light. Some of such particles are detected as cosmic rays, and others are indirectly confirmed by emission of X-rays or gamma-rays. The relativistic particles are considered to be produced in high-energy astrophysical phenomena, but the production mechanism is still unknown. Our main purpose is to reveal high-energy astrophysical phenomena, which are the most challenging mysteries of nature.
