余談: SF 映画 コンタクト(1997年)の一場面で、Postdoc の一人が ”ガンマ線源 Mrk541” を研究していると、紹介される場面がでてくる。映画が製作された1997年当時、かに星雲, Mrk421 と Mrk501 のみが TeV ガンマ線源として知られていただけであった。 Mrk541 は、たぶん Mrk421とMrk501 を映画の中でミックスして作られたガンマ線天体だったと思われる。

さらに余談:Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol では、Fermi ガンマ線衛星の画像が、ロシアのスパイ衛星としてでてくる。こちらも注意深く映画をみていただきたい。
