Organization of ICRR
Administrative Structure
Board of Councillors :
This board consults the ICRR collaborations,
convened responding to Director's request for advice.
It consists of the Director and about 14 other members.
The members are selected from below.

professors and assistant professors of ICRR
requested by President of University of Tokyo. |
| 2) |
Dean of Department of Science and Director
of the Executive Office, University of Tokyo. |
| 3) |
Director of National Astronomical Observatory,
Director of Institute for Nuclear Study in
High Energy Accelerator Research Organization,
and Director of Yukawa Institute for theoretical
Physics. |
| 4) |
People of experience and academic standing
inside and outside of universities, requested
and entrusted by the President of University
of Tokyo. |
Faculty :
The Faculty proposes the next director to the President,
decides personnel matters, and deliberates on important
issues of ICRR. It consists of all the members of
full-time professors and assistant professors including
the Director.
Executive Committee :
This committee frames a plan of operations
of the collaboration facilities, and submits it
to the Faculty. It consists of about 14 researchers
inside and outside ICRR (roughly fifty-fifty).
Advisory Committee :
This committee deliberates in order to make the
collaborations progress smoothly, and proposes and
reports their thoughts to the Executive Committee.
It consists of members selected inside and people
of learning and experience outside ICRR. |
