Cut the potatoes in inch-sized cubes, put them in a pan along with the meat, a spoon of oil, salt, black pepper and herbes. Start browning the meat, and after a couple of minutes add water (or wine), cover and simmer. Every couple of minutes turn the meat and potaotes with a spoon, add more water if needed, and cover again. It should take about 15 minutes for the potatoes to become soft. |
