To realize these goals it will combine a high intensity neutrino beam from J-PARC with a new detector based upon precision neutrino experimental techniques developed in Japan and built to be more than 10 times larger than Super-Kamiokande. On this occasion, a research proto-collaboration will be formed to advance the Hyper-Kamiokande project internationally and a symposium commemorating the event will be held.<\/p>\n<p> Members of the
