Its setup of four 12m and a central 28m telescope has proven to be sufficiently versatile to allow for excellent research results after more than 20 years since inauguration. New sources and phenomena were discovered\/studied as a result of dedicated in-depth observations, continuous surveys, and rapid responses to time-domain opportunities. Likewise, more advanced analysis frameworks were introduced and are increasingly used.
