It displays eruptive events once every 15 years.\u00a0During its last major outburst on August 2021, it was detected at very high energies (E>100 GeV), making it the first nova\u00a0discovered in this energy regime. In this presentation, I will report on the observations performed by the MAGIC telescopes,\u00a0a pair of Cherenkov telescopes located in the Roque de los Muchachos observatory. The detection by MAGIC proved a\u00a0hadronic origin of the gamma-ray emission, and helped understanding the contribution of novae to the cosmic ray budget.<br><a
