The successful candidate is expected to make outstanding contributions to all of the following areas related to the ATLAS experiment: • novel machine-learning techniques • advanced state-of-the-art radiation-hard silicon detectors • new methods to study di-Higgs final states or Long-Lived BSM searches. The research activities mentioned above will be done as a member of the KEK-ATLAS group and in line with its ongoing activities covering physics analyses and detector developments.
