<<<<<<<<<<<<<< CRC News 2021年 10月 27日 >>>>>>>>>>>>>> CRC会員 各位 　　　　　　　　　　　CRC事務局　 ********＜宇宙科学談話会スケジュール（2021年11月）＞******** 宇宙科学研究所で開催しております「宇宙科学セミナー・談話会」の11月の予定をお送りいたします。 宇宙航空研究開発機構 研究開発部門の水谷忠均氏に、「3.6m分割望遠鏡による静止光学観測用イメージャの検討」についてお話いただきます。多くの皆様のご参加をお待ちしています。 --------------------------------------------------------------- ○宇宙科学談話会（第186回) 日時: 2021年11月17日 (水) 16:30〜17:30 場所: zoom開催 講師: 水谷忠均（宇宙航空研究開発機構 研究開発部門） 題目: 3.6m分割望遠鏡による静止光学観測用イメージャの検討 要旨: 災害等の緊急を要する状況において、衛星画像はそのレイテンシ（観測要求からデータ配信までの時間）の限界から活用範囲は限定的なものになる。提案する静止観測衛星では、このレイテンシ、すなわち時間分解能を最小化することを技術面の特長としている。一方で、静止軌道からの地球観測で実用的に十分な空間分解能を得るためには大型の望遠鏡が必要であり、技術の飛躍が必要となる。具体的には口径3.6mの光学望遠鏡を含む光学センサの技術成立性を検討中である。JAXA研究開発部門では、地上の大型望遠鏡開発で主流となっており、また、今年打ち上げが予定されているNASAのJames Webb Space Telescopeでも採用されている主鏡分割方式に注目し、宇宙機搭載の分割望遠鏡に必要となる技術について研究開発を進めている。 講演言語: 日本語 --------------------------------------------------------------- ((English)) We are going to have a space science colloquium on ”Recent results with Fermi-LAT gamma-ray space telescope”, presented by Dr. Tadahito Mizutani, JAXA Research and Development Directorate. Space Science Colloquium #186 --------------------------------------------------------------- Time: 4:30pm - 5:30pm Nov.17th (Wed.), 2021 Place: Via Zoom Speaker: Tadahito Mizutani (JAXA Research and Development Directorate) Title: 3.6-meter segmented telescope for geostationary satellite imager Abstract:　 In time-sensitive situations such as massive disasters, satellite imagery is of limited use due to its limited latency which is defined as the time between observation request and data delivery. The proposed geostationary Earth observation satellite has a technical feature of minimizing the latency, i.e. the time resolution. In addition, a large telescope is required to obtain sufficient spatial resolution for practical use, and a leap in technology is required. We, JAXA R&D directorate, have been studying the feasibility of an optical sensor including a 3.6-meter space-borne telescope, and are focusing on the technology of the segmented mirror, which is the mainstream for large ground-based telescopes and was also adopted in NASA's James Webb Space Telescope to be launched this year.
