Sreekantan ＞**************** インドのTata Institute of Fundamental Research　の所長であった B. V. Sreekantan が亡くなくなられたそうです。享年９４才。 おくやみは息子のremeshsreekantan [at] gmail.comへ。 宇宙研名誉教授　槙野文命 ------ インドにおける宇宙線研究の発展に多大な貢献をされた B.V.Sreekantan 先生がお亡くなりになりました。 以下に、タタ基礎研究所のS.K.Gupta教授による追悼文を掲載いたします。 中部大学　大嶋晃敏 Dear Colleagues, I am deeply saddened to inform you that last night Prof. B.V. Sreekantan, founder of Cosmic Ray Laboratory and Director of TIFR from 1975 to 1987 passed away after a brief illness. Prof. Sreekantan had set up CRL in Raj Bhavan campus in 1955. With his death India has lost its greatest cosmic ray scientist, a great administrator and humanist. May his soul rest in peace. Sunil Gupta
