  EPS Conference のお知らせです。

Dear colleague,

the European Physical Society (EPS) holds its biannual 
International Conference on High Energy Physics from July 17 to July 23
2003 in Aachen, Germany. Michel Spiro, chairman of the IOC told me, 
that you have accepted to act as national contact person on behalf 
of HEP2003. In previous years the conference attributed national quotas
to each country and the contact persons then distributed this quotas
among the hep institutes. This year the IOC felt the system was a bit 
outdated. We ask you therefore to act as a clearing agent in case we 
have to reject an applicant. 

It is also very important that you support this conference in your
country by making it known to interested scientists. We have sent
about 700 posters to hep institutes. In case you need posters
please let us know.

It contains already a lot of information on the scientific programme.
Online-registration is now open and the organizers would be very glad
to welcome you personally at the conference.
