以下は今年の12月に日本で行う「重力波の国際データ解析ワークショップ」の お知らせです。 Dear Colleagues, The 7th Gravitational Wave Data Analysis Workshop (GWDAW2002) will be held at the International Institute for Advanced Studies in Kyoto, Japan on December 17-19, 2002. We look forward to your attendance and your active contributions to the workshop. The workshop will cover topics in data analysis for all kinds of gravitational wave detectors (grand and space-based interferometers, resonant bars, etc.), and theoretical issues on sources. GWDAW2002 will have three full-days for sessions: Dec. 17th Morning: Status of detectors Afternoon: Space based detectors, sources and analysis Dec. 18th Morning: Event search (details of implemented analysis applied to real data) Afternoon I: Detector characterization (continuation of morning) Afternoon II: Coincidence of detectors and detector network analysis Dec. 19th Morning: New (and unimplemented) methods of analysis Afternoon: Sources for advanced ground-based detectors The information about registration, submission of abstracts, and accommodations will be announced in the 2nd circular, which will be sent out in September. Please find further information about the location, transportation, and any other updated information, at the conference web site: http://vega.ess.sci.osaka-u.ac.jp/gwdaw/ Please address any further question to gwdaw [at] vega.ess.sci.osaka-u.ac.jp We look forward to seeing you in Kyoto.
