Ground Level Enhancements can also generate Space Weather impacts at ground level. In addition the transport of cosmic rays to the earth through the heliosphere is generally understood but there is still much that remains to be explained. The link between cosmic ray variations and climate change has been postulated but is still controversial. The production of cosmogenic nuclei is another aspect of the impact of cosmic rays. This session will allow researchers in cosmic ray physics to present their observations and theories to the broader geophysical community and to put those observations into context.
