The aim of the European Cosmic Ray Symposium is that of spreading throughout the European Physics community the information concerning the status of the research in cosmic rays and related fields, the recent results, the new coming idea and the shortcoming new experiments. Therefore the symposium essentially consists of overviews and joint discussions on the following topics: 1) Gamma-ray astronomy 2) Neutrino astronomy 3) Underground physics 4) UHECRs 5) Low energy CRs 6) CRs at knee 7) CR antimatter 8) Space weather / Climate / Neutron monitor 9) Gravitational waves The scientific program is organized in plenary sessions, with talks only by invited speakers. Three different types of talks are foreseen: a) overviews (40 min) of different branches of CRs and related fields; b) highlight talks (20 min) dedicated to topical information on recent results on CR physics; c) lectures (60 min) covering the general aspects wide interest thematics. The program will include also a poster session, dedicated to more technical aspects, to which participants can contribute. The deadline for poster submission is July 15th, 2004.
