Friday 25th, May, 2018 Noyori Conference Hall, Nagoya University, Nagoya, Aichi, Japan 2nd Bulletin April 15th 2017 Dear possible participants, On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our pleasure to announce that the 20th International Symposium on Very High Energy Cosmic-Ray Interactions (ISVHECRI 2018) will be held at Nagoya, Japan, May 21 - 25, 2018. We would like to invite you to attend the symposium and to contribute to the program. ISVHECRI is a biennial international conference series launched in 1980 at Nakhodka (Russia). The scientific aspect of the series is to focus on the high energy hadronic interaction of cosmic-ray particles and related topics including any high energy cosmic-ray research. The Symposium will highlight the understanding of hadronic interactions from cosmic-ray data as well as the studies of hadronic interactions at colliders and beam facilities, in particular at the LHC and RHIC. This symposium series serves to strengthen the interaction between accelerator-based and cosmic-ray communities especially with regard to very high-energy phenomena. Date: Monday May 21 - Friday 25, 2018 Place: Noyori Conference Hall, Nagoya University, Nagoya, Japan Web site https://indico.cern.ch/e/isvhecri2018 Topics covered in this symposium include: - EAS results relevant to Particle Physics - Accelerator results relevant to Cosmic Ray Physics - Emulsion chamber & Hybrid experiment results - LHC pp and Heavy Ion Physics - Exotic phenomena, manifestation of “New Physics” beyond the Standard Model - Hadronic cross sections, multi-particle production & hadronic interaction models - Space experiment data related to high energy interactions - Matter-Antimatter asymmetry - New EAS experimental installations - High energy neutrino and muon fluxes - High and super high energy cosmic rays, origin & observation Scientific program and presentation: All presentations is organized in plenary sessions as invited talks as well as some contributed talks and poster presentation. Submission of contribution was already closed at 28th February. Now final program is available in the symposium web page. Lengths of the talks are 35 min, 30 min. and 25 min. each including 5 min. for discussion, or 20 min. including 3 min for discussion.
