<<<<<<<<<<<<<< CRC News 2017年 3 月 8 日 >>>>>>>>>>>>>> CRC会員 各位 CRC事務局 *******************<[LRT 2017] 2nd Announcement>******************* Dear low-radioactivity colleagues, As you know, the Low Radioactivity Techniques Workshop (LRT2017) will be held at Ewha Womans University in the center of Seoul, Korea between May 24(Wed) and 26(Fri), and we’ll have a Tour of the Yang Yang Underground lab on Saturday the 27. I am pleased to announce that we are now accepting abstract submissions from anyone interested in presenting a talk or a poster. Registration is now open as well. Please see http://lrt2017.ibs.re.kr for details, including a list of anticipated topics/sessions. Abstract submission will only be open a few weeks, with a deadline of March 24, so don’t wait. We are planning to publish a proceedings book through the AIP as in previous years, at no additional expense. We do have limited support available. Please see the website for details. Applications will be considered based on need up to the limits of available funds. A strict deadline of March 24th is set for these requests, with no extension. As mentioned above, we are planning a bus trip to visit the Yangyang Underground Lab (Y2L), Saturday, May 27, so plan your travel days accordingly. Hosting the COSINE and AMoRE experiments, the lab is located near the eastern shore of Korea. This is in a beautiful, somewhat-remote part of Korea that most visitors don’t get to see. Those with late flights Sunday could opt to stay at the famous summer beach resorts or hot-spring sauna hotels nearby. We will be returning to Seoul late on Saturday, so return flights on the same day are not advised. We’re looking forward to seeing you in Seoul soon and hearing your reports on the latest advancements in the field. See you soon! Best Regards, Doug Leonard Conference Chair
