For other participants who book by themselves, we listed nearby hotels in the following web page: http://www.astro.phys.s.chiba-u.ac.jp/ca2012/lodging.html ------------------ Transportation ------------------ Chiba University is located between the Narita("New Tokyo") International Airport and the downtown Tokyo. From Narita airport to Chiba station: The easiest way is to catch the JR line to Chiba. Please note that the "Narita Express" does not stop at Chiba station. Take JR line rapid service from the Narita Airport station. From Chiba station to the campus: From the Chiba station that the train from the airport directly takes you, transfer to the JR Sobu line local. The Nishi-Chiba station, the closest station to the campus is just a station ride from Chiba, which takes 3 minutes. This JR Sobu line takes off at Chiba every 10 minute or so, and it is real easy from Chiba to Nishi-Chiba. The University is right in front of the Nishi-Chiba station. --------------- AC power --------------- The AC power available in Chiba is 100V 50Hz. The plug shape is 2-pin that is similar to the US standard except for no ground pin. --------------------- Contact Address --------------------- Ryoji Matsumoto (chair) Department of Physics, Graduate School of Science, Chiba University, Email: matumoto -at- astro.s.chiba-u.ac.jp Shigeru Yoshida (co-chair) Department of Physics, Graduate School of Science, Chiba University, Email: syoshida -at- hepburn.s.chiba-u.ac.jp This workshop is supported by COE project "Ultra High Energy Hadron Universe" at Chiba University, and International Center for Hadron Astrophysics (ICEHAP), Graduate School of Science, Chiba University =============================================================== =====================================
