Prof. Boris Dolgoshein が12月14日に逝去されました。
彼は新しい光検出器 SiPM の産みの親で、最後までその開発研究に
非常に重要な貢献をしてこられました。この分野で極めて先進的な
開発を進めておられ残念でなりません。
謹んでご冥福を祈りたいと思います。

I have to communicate you very-very sad news.

Professor Boris Dolgoshein has passed away yesterday in his office
when having a discussion with one of his students.
A thrombus was the reason and everything happened almost instantly.

A really great person and scientist has passed away.
