Dear Colleague,

We would like to inform you that the 10th International Symposium on
  Origin of Matter and Evolution of Galaxies (OMEG07)
  --- From the Dawn of Universe to the Formation of Solar System ---
is scheduled to take place
  in Sapporo, Japan during December 4 (Tue) - 6 (Thu), 2007.
The Symposium will be held at
 Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan.

The Scientific Program will cover the following topics:
    1. Big Bang Cosmology and Particle Astrophysics
    2. Cosmic and Galactic Chemical Evolution and Structure Formation
    3. Stellar and Meteoritic Abundances
    4. Nucleosynthesis in Stars, Novae, and Supernovae
    5. Nuclear Structure and Reactions for Astrophysics
    6. Weak Interaction and Neutrino Physics
    7. Explosion Mechanism of Supernovae
    8. Neutron Star and High Density Matter
    9. X-Ray, Gamma Ray, Cosmic Ray, and Meteorites
    10. Nuclear Data for Astrophysics

On-line submission of the questionnaire is also available
on the homepage.

Contributed Papers:
----------
We call for contributed papers, some of which will be selected
for oral and poster presentations. Besides oral presentations,
Three-Minute-Talks of all posters are also planned in this symposium.
The abstract should be within one page for each title.
Please send the pdf/ps file of your abstract by E-mail to
   omeg07 [at] nucl.sci.hokudai.ac.jp
   by October 15, 2007.
Example files and on-line submission of the abstract are also available
on the homepage.

Proceedings:
----------
Proceedings book will be published in AIP Conference Series.
All invited, oral, and poster presenters are invited
to submit their papers.

Registration, accommodation and travel:
----------
The symposium registration fee is
   15,000 Japanese yen (8,000 yen for students)
including attendance at the conference dinner on the second day.
Detailed information for registration, accommodation and travel
to the symposium site will be provided in the second circular.

        Sep.   16, 2007 : Questionnaire.
        Sep.   30, 2007 : Second circular including the main program.
        Oct.   15, 2007 : Deadline for submission of abstracts.
        Oct.   30, 2007 : Information to the selected oral speakers.
        Nov.    1, 2007 : Final circular.
        Nov.   15, 2007 : Deadline for registration.
        Dec.  4-6, 2007 : OMEG07 symposium.
        Jan.   15, 2008 : Deadline for the Proceedings papers.
